founded Atara Mechanical in 2018. After many years of being in the HVAC industry, Omar knew he was called to be the change the industry needed. Time and time again, he watched clients be taken advantage of and not treated fairly. Growing up in the care of a single mother who worked tirelessly to provide for her family, he knew he needed to specifically be the voice for women and the elderly community who didn't know enough about the industry to understand what was and wasn't needed for their HVAC system. After discussion with Brittany and lots of prayer, they knew God was calling them to be world changers by directly impacting their community and creating an honest and trustworthy HVAC service anyone could depend on. Brittany has always been in the customer service field and has held multiple managerial positions and was able to bring the necessary experience to earn the clients trust by providing reassurance and empathy from the first impression; the phone call requesting for service. Together, they researched and decided on the name 'Atara'; which in Hebrew means "blessed" or "crown" and further represents the reason the doors of Atara were opened; for His glory.
